Brookfield Asset Management, in partnership with Nvidia and the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA), has unveiled an ambitious $100 billion global artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure initiative aimed at building and acquiring assets critical to the AI value chain. The initiative is anchored by the Brookfield Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Fund (BAIIF), which is launching this week and is targeting $10 billion in equity commitments from institutional and industry partners. So far, the fund has secured $5 billion in commitments, including significant contributions from Brookfield itself, Nvidia, and KIA.
